When Your RV Can’t Keep Going

Mechanical trouble is especially frustrating when your RV carries everything you need for your trip. Caveman Towing & Repair handles breakdowns involving large recreational vehicles, with roadside assistance and heavy-duty towing available when an RV can’t keep going.

Call us when:

The RV won’t start or can’t be driven

Engine, transmission, or drivetrain problems stop the trip

A tire problem can’t be resolved roadside

Steering, suspension, or brake problems make driving unsafe

The RV is damaged in an accident

The RV has left the roadway

The RV is stuck in mud, soft ground, or an off-pavement area

A Breakdown Doesn’t Have to End With a Tow

A drained battery, empty tank, or flat tire can interrupt a trip without putting the RV out of service for days. Caveman provides jump starts, tire changes, fuel delivery, and lockout assistance.

For diesel motorhomes, our mobile technicians work on coolant leaks, air leaks, hub seals, and regens. We can discuss roadside repair based on the symptoms and the motorhome involved.

If the work belongs in a shop, we offer towing so you won’t be left searching for an RV towing provider after the repair visit.

Checked In, but Can’t Pull Out?

Rain can change a campsite overnight. The ground that supported your motorhome on arrival can give way under its wheels when it’s time to leave.

Our winching and off-road recovery service helps RV owners stranded on soft ground. We pay special attention to campground access: trees beside the site and tight turns between rows can limit where a recovery truck can park.

The operator assesses the RV’s position before starting, paying close attention to clearance beneath the vehicle. Recovery brings it back to accessible ground; towing is available afterward if damage prevents further travel.

After an RV Accident

Caveman recovers overturned campers and motorhomes that have left the roadway. Our recovery fleet includes a 50-ton rotator and heavy wreckers, with air cushions available for suitable recovery work.

Our crews work alongside responding agencies to gain access and remove the damaged vehicle. We can arrange transport from the scene once recovery is complete.

Your Regular RV Shop Is Still an Option

Being away from home doesn’t mean you have to leave your RV at the closest garage. Caveman provides long-distance towing to designated repair facilities, so you can transport your RV to the shop you already trust.

Before the move, confirm that the facility accepts your RV and has room to receive it. We coordinate delivery with the receiving location. After-hours drop-offs are also available at participating partner shops.
