Caveman Towing & Repair: Family-Owned. Professionally Driven.
Caveman Towing & Repair has been serving Southern Oregon for more than 50 years. Since 1972, we have grown into a well-equipped towing and recovery operation with locations in Grants Pass, Talent, and Ashland. Today, we’re proud to remain a family-owned business with deep roots in the communities we serve throughout Southern Oregon and Northern California.
We’ve earned our reputation through years of dependable service and the experience of long-term employees. Their experience is central to our company, whether they’re helping someone with a broken-down car or recovering a loaded tractor-trailer.
Commercial work makes up most of our calls, but we serve individual motorists, too. We provide towing, recovery, roadside assistance, and truck repair, with help available 24/7.
The Equipment Behind the Work
We’ve continued investing in equipment as our work has grown. Today, Caveman operates 20+ towing, recovery, and service units, including a 50-ton rotator, four 35-ton wreckers, and two 25-ton wreckers.
Our fleet also includes air cushions, an off-road heavy winch truck, mobile repair trucks, and tire service trucks. Lowboy/RGN, Landoll, and drop-deck trailers let us haul machinery and tow vehicles.
Those investments give our crews more ways to finish a job. We can repair a truck roadside, recover it when it’s off the road, handle its cargo, and arrange transport when it cannot continue. We also have after-hours access arrangements with partner repair shops so we can deliver disabled trucks when their offices are closed.
Professional Operators Who Take Pride in Their Work
A clean truck and a uniformed driver tell you something about the company you called. We care about both. Our employees take pride in their equipment and how they represent Caveman when they arrive to help.
Every driver holds WreckMaster or ITTR certification, along with traffic incident management and flagger certification. Background checks, drug testing, and DOT physicals are also part of our standards. We back our drivers’ experience with continued investment in training and equipment.
Part of the Southern Oregon Community
Caveman works with Oregon State Police, the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office, Rural Metro Fire, Grants Pass Fire Department, and Oregon Department of Transportation on towing and recovery calls.
We also sponsor a Boys & Girls Club basketball team, the Boatnik festival, and the Christmas light parade. Supporting local teams and traditions is part of being a family business that has called Southern Oregon home for more than five decades.
