Long-Distance Towing

Vehicle Transport Beyond the Local Area

Need your vehicle towed out of town? Call Caveman Towing & Repair.

The nearest shop isn’t always where you want your vehicle repaired. We provide long-distance towing for drivers returning a car to their regular mechanic, fleets bringing a disabled truck back to their maintenance facility, and businesses arranging vehicle transfers.

Based in Southern Oregon, we serve Grants Pass, Talent, Medford, and Northern California. Call with the pickup location, destination, and vehicle details to discuss your move. Our dispatch team answers 24/7.

Long-Distance Towing for Cars & Commercial Vehicles

Caveman’s work includes towing passenger vehicles and handling daily commercial truck calls. Our flatbeds and heavy wreckers provide transport options for:

Passenger cars.

SUVs and crossovers.

Pickup trucks.

Electric and hybrid vehicles.

Commercial vans.

Box trucks and work trucks.

Semi-trucks and tractor-trailers.

Fleet vehicles.

A vehicle’s condition affects the move as much as its size. Locked wheels, steering damage, low clearance, or a truck carrying cargo can change the equipment and preparation needed. Mention those conditions when arranging transport.

Take It to the Shop You Trust

A breakdown away from home can leave you choosing between unfamiliar repair facilities. Long-distance towing gives you another option: send the vehicle to a mechanic who knows its history or a facility equipped for the repair it needs.

For commercial customers, that may mean returning a truck to the fleet’s own shop instead of leaving it hundreds of miles from the people who maintain it. We work with drivers, fleet managers, and receiving facilities to arrange transport to the designated destination.

We also handle scheduled moves for vehicles that aren’t stranded, including transfers between dealerships, repair shops, and business locations.

When a Local Tow Isn’t Far Enough

Moving for work, heading off to college, or relocating to another state? Caveman Towing & Repair provides long-distance vehicle transport for customers who need their cars delivered beyond Southern Oregon. We also help with out-of-state vehicle purchases and seasonal moves, saving owners the trouble of driving themselves.

Our transport services extend to dealership vehicle deliveries and fleet relocations. If your vehicle breaks down far from home, we can arrange towing to your preferred repair facility. We also handle transport requests for sports cars, classic vehicles, and luxury or exotic models, using equipment suited to the vehicle’s requirements.

With flatbeds and experienced WreckMaster- and ITTR-certified operators, Caveman can handle a wide range of long-distance towing assignments.

Flatbed Towing for the Longer Trip

Some vehicles need to travel with every wheel off the road. Our flatbeds carry the entire vehicle on the bed, with loading and securement suited to its condition and towing requirements.

Flatbed transport may be appropriate for all-wheel-drive vehicles, electric vehicles, and cars with drivetrain or collision damage. We also transport qualifying commercial vehicles, accounting for their weight, dimensions, and any equipment or cargo aboard.

For machinery and larger equipment moves, Caveman operates Landoll, lowboy/RGN, and drop-deck trailers.

When the Truck & Its Load Have Different Destinations

A disabled truck may need to return to its home terminal while the shipment still needs to reach a customer. Tell us about the load when requesting commercial towing so we can discuss the vehicle and freight together.

Caveman handles load-shift corrections, cargo recovery, swaps, and transfers when freight needs attention before transport. Carriers can arrange that work alongside the tow rather than finding a cargo service after the towing arrangements are already made.

Plan the Pickup and the Handoff

Getting the vehicle there is part of the job. Making sure someone can receive it matters, too. Provide the destination’s contact information, receiving hours, and any delivery instructions when booking.

At pickup, let us know about gates, tight entrances, or anything preventing access to the vehicle. If someone else will meet our operator, provide their contact details so the pickup can be coordinated directly.

Caveman has after-hours access arrangements with participating repair shops. Ask whether those arrangements apply to your destination; a closed office doesn’t always prevent delivery.
