24/7 Heavy Duty Towing Services
Heavy Duty Towing for Trucks & Commercial Vehicles
A disabled tractor is one problem. A loaded trailer waiting behind it is another.
Caveman Towing & Repair handles heavy-duty towing, roadside repair, recovery, and cargo work, so you can arrange all services through one company.
We serve Southern Oregon and Northern California with four 35-ton wreckers, two 25-ton wreckers, and operators who work with commercial trucks every day. Call for tractor-only towing, tractor-trailer combinations, and other large vehicles, day or night.
Heavy Duty Vehicles We Tow
Garbage trucks, buses, and motorhomes differ from semis in configuration. Mounted equipment, ground clearance, weight, and mechanical damage all affect how we can tow them.
Our heavy-duty work includes:
A Repair Truck May Be the Better First Call
If a roadside repair can get the truck running again, it may save you a tow and a trip to the shop.
Regens are among our most frequent commercial roadside repair calls. Our mobile crews also handle coolant leaks, air leaks, and hub seals. We also offer commercial tire service, diesel delivery, jump starts, and lockout assistance.
Describe the symptoms when you call so we can discuss roadside service before arranging a tow. If the problem requires major mechanical work or more than an hour or two of roadside repair, Caveman can transport the truck instead. You won’t have to start over with another towing company.

Where Does the Truck Need to Go?
Your regular maintenance shop may be across town, or back near your home terminal. We arrange local and long-distance towing to the repair facility or fleet location you designate.
Caveman works with the driver at the vehicle and the dispatcher or fleet manager arranging the move. Let us know whether the tractor and trailer will stay together, what the truck is carrying, and whether damage prevents the wheels from rolling or steering normally. Those details help us prepare the tow around your actual equipment.
Our after-hours access arrangements with participating repair shops also allow us to deliver disabled trucks when their offices are closed. Confirm the destination with dispatch so we can establish the drop-off arrangements before the truck leaves.
When the Truck Isn’t Ready to Be Towed
A jackknifed trailer, an overturned combination, or a truck below the road may need recovery before transport. Caveman’s equipment includes a 50-ton rotator, heavy wreckers, an off-road heavy winch truck, and air cushions.
The trailer’s condition and freight matter as much as the vehicle’s position. Our crews can handle cargo work alongside recovery when a damaged trailer or displaced load complicates removal. Skid steers and road brooms also support accident cleanup.
Keep the Freight in the Conversation
Sending the truck to a shop doesn’t settle what happens to its shipment. Freight may need to move to another trailer, or a shifted load may need correction before the vehicle can move.
Caveman provides load-shift corrections, cargo recovery, swaps, and transfers. We have reach lifts for cargo handling and a refrigerated trailer available for incidents involving temperature-sensitive freight.
Let dispatch know what freight is aboard, how it is packaged, and whether a receiving trailer is available. Those details help us prepare for the cargo work alongside the tow.
Commercial Equipment Moves, Planned or Unexpected
Contractors and agricultural businesses can call Caveman for machinery transport using our lowboy/RGN, Landoll, and drop-deck trailers. We handle moves between worksites, yards, and repair facilities.
If disabled machinery cannot reach the loading area, we can discuss recovery as part of the pickup. The equipment’s weight, dimensions, attachments, and operating condition determine the hauling arrangements.
Why Fleets Call Caveman
A truck far from its terminal still needs a local team that knows the work. Our support is available throughout the region, including Ashland, Grants Pass, Talent, Medford, OR, and Northern California. We’re family-owned and professionally driven, with long-term employees and a commercial fleet we take pride in maintaining. Caveman has served Southern Oregon since 1972.
