Mobile Rotator Service

24/7 Rotator Recovery for Trucks & Heavy Equipment

An overturned trailer beside a building leaves a different recovery problem than a truck at the bottom of an embankment.

Caveman Towing & Repair brings a 50-ton rotator and experienced recovery operators to commercial incidents throughout Southern Oregon and Northern California.

Our rotator lifts and repositions vehicles and machinery during recovery. Our fleet also includes heavy wreckers, an off-road winch truck, and air cushions, so recoveries can draw on several types of equipment.

When There’s No Straight Pull Back to the Road

A truck can be plainly visible yet still hard to reach. A ditch bank can obstruct the recovery path. Nearby structures can leave little room to position a wrecker.

The rotator’s rotating boom gives our operators additional lifting positions. Its usefulness depends on the load, the distance from the truck, and the ground available to support the equipment. The 50-ton rating doesn’t mean we can lift every load from every position.

Caveman uses rotator equipment for:

Overturned tractor-trailers.

Rolled or leaning trailers.

Ditch and embankment recovery.

Off-road commercial vehicle recovery.

Heavy equipment uprighting.

Repositioning during recovery.

Getting a Loaded Trailer Upright

After a rollover, the freight inside a trailer isn’t necessarily where the shipping paperwork says it should be. Cargo pressed against damaged walls can complicate uprighting, and the trailer itself can be too damaged to support a straightforward recovery.

Our crews assess the trailer and its load before deciding how to proceed. The rotator works alongside our heavy wreckers, with air cushions available for suitable rollover jobs.

If cargo must come out first, Caveman provides freight recovery and transfers. Carriers can arrange the load work with the recovery instead of finding a separate company while the truck waits.

Machinery That Can’t Reach the Hauler

A machine tipped on uneven ground or disabled beyond the loading area creates a problem before transport begins. Caveman provides recovery and repositioning for construction and agricultural equipment.

Our recovery personnel have rigging qualifications. They assess the machine’s condition and available access to determine how to use lifting or winching equipment.

Once the equipment is accessible, our Landoll, lowboy/RGN, and drop-deck trailers provide hauling options. Contractors can arrange recovery and transport to the repair facility through Caveman.

The Recovery Doesn’t End With the Lift

An upright truck can still have damaged axles or wheels that won’t roll. Our heavy-duty towing fleet transports recovered vehicles to designated repair shops and fleet facilities, including long-distance towing.

Commercial accidents also leave work on the ground. Caveman has reach lifts for cargo handling, plus skid steers and road brooms for accident cleanup. Those resources help us address the vehicle and what came out of it during the same incident.

For a fleet dispatcher managing the job remotely, that means one team to work with through recovery and removal.
