24/7 Flat Tire Change Service
Stuck With a Flat? We’ll Come Change It.
A spare in the trunk doesn’t help when you’re stuck in traffic, missing a jack, or can’t loosen the lug nuts.
Caveman Towing & Repair provides 24/7 flat tire assistance in Grants Pass, OR, Medford, OR, Talent, OR, Ashland, OR, and surrounding Southern Oregon and Northern California communities.
We install usable spares on passenger vehicles and operate dedicated tire service trucks for commercial calls. Tell us what you drive, where you’re stopped, and whether you have a spare. We’ll discuss the service your vehicle needs.
Serving Cars, Trucks & Commercial Vehicles
You don’t have to change the tire yourself to avoid a tow. If your vehicle has a serviceable spare and there’s room to work safely, our operators can remove the flat wheel and install the spare.
Call for assistance with:
Mention locking lug nuts when arranging service, and have the wheel-lock key available if your vehicle uses one. If the spare or tools are under luggage or work equipment, tell the operator where to find them.
Don’t Change a Tire in an Unsafe Spot
A driver’s-side flat can put you beside passing traffic every time you reach for a lug nut. A narrow shoulder, soft ground, or a blind curve can make a roadside change unsafe—even when you have the spare and tools.
Turn on your hazard lights and, if you can do so safely, move out of the travel lanes. Avoid standing between your vehicle and passing traffic. Tell dispatch if the flat is on the traffic-facing side or there’s little room around the vehicle. Call 911 if there is immediate danger.
Our drivers are certified in traffic incident management and flagging. We assess the working area before beginning; if there isn’t a suitable place to change the tire, we can arrange towing to a safer location.

Before We Put the Spare On
A spare that’s been sitting under the cargo floor for years may be underinflated or damaged. Some vehicles have an inflation kit instead of a spare. If you’re unsure what your vehicle carries, tell us when you call rather than assuming there’s a usable replacement.
Our operator checks the spare’s condition before installing it. A missing or unusable spare, a damaged wheel, or additional vehicle damage may mean a tow-truck trip to the tire shop.
Once the spare is fitted, follow its marked speed and distance limits. A compact spare is a temporary way to reach a repair facility, not a replacement for your regular tire.
Commercial Tire Service for Working Trucks
A flat on a loaded truck is a different call from putting a compact spare on a car. Caveman works with drivers, owner-operators, and fleet dispatchers arranging roadside help for commercial vehicles.
Provide the truck’s make and model, the affected tire’s position, and tire size if available. Let us know whether the truck is loaded and whether the wheel is visibly damaged. Those details help us determine the commercial tire assistance available for the job.
If we can’t handle the problem roadside, our towing fleet can transport the disabled vehicle. Dispatch can arrange tire service and heavy duty towing through Caveman, so you don’t have to find another provider.
Flat Tire Help Worth Keeping on Speed Dial
A flat is enough of an interruption. Caveman can help with the tire change, commercial tire service, or the tow when neither will get the vehicle moving. We’ve served Southern Oregon and Northern California since 1972, and we take pride in sending clean trucks with experienced, uniformed operators.
